Founded in 1840 in Paris, Pinet has been in the same family for six generations and is recognised today as being a leading manufacturer in Europe of hinges and hardware.
At this time Pinet manufactured metal sheers for organs and harmoniums progressing to the manufacture of hinges in 1923.

In a fast moving world Pinet has created a global network and in order to complement our manufacturing facility in Chaulnes, Pinet has developed partnerships with other companies in Europe, USA, Japan and China, which enables us to offer a vast range of products at competitive prices.
Pinet supplies companies around the globe and currently export sales account for 30% of the Company's turnover via our two subsidiary companies in the UK and Germany along with a network of distributors and sole agents.
The Company's registered office is in Paris (CDG) with the manufacturing plant in Chaulnes (northern France).
